Captain of Innocence: France & the Dreyfus Affair
Author : Norman H Finkelstein
Around April 25th each year we remember the injustices and losses of war as well as honouring the dedication of men and women of valour and truth. We abhor the abuse of power as much as we despise traitors to a cause.
Captain of Innocence is the true story of the French government and their military leaders who conspired to convict an innocent man in one of French history’s most tellingly muddled moments. It divided France in the 1890s and the early 1900s and had ramifications that carried through to World War II.
